Walnut Blasting – Westhill

Walnut shell blasting at DJ Autos cleans the valves and intake ports, clearing out carbon build-up from direct injection engines.

The blasting tool is a specialised piece of technology that we are fortunate to have at our workshop in Westhill; it utilises pressurised air to shoot finely crushed walnut shells into the intake tract, and these blast against the carbon at such velocity that it is completely cleared.

Carbon deposits build up over the years, and if they’re left untreated, they can lead to a loss of power, a reduction in fuel economy and poor drivability. Bring your car into DJ Autos for walnut shell blasting and enjoy the benefits.

DJ Autos is proud to be affiliated with respected automobile organisations such as the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) and the Scottish Motor Trade Association (SMTA), and to partner with trusted suppliers including Varta, Pagid and Shell. We are also pleased to offer our customers interest-free repair finance through Payment Assist.
